These terms and conditions apply to any booking to attend our events.

Our events are organized and managed by Search Africa Conference

Definitions

• “We,” “us,” or “our” refers to Search Africon 
• “You” refers to the company completing a booking request and/or the ticket holder (attendee).

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an event or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Bookings

• All bookings are subject to availability and full payment.
• Enrollment is only guaranteed upon full payment and receipt of a completed registration form.
• Prices for events are set out on the registration booking form or our website.
• We may cancel your booking if full payment is not received.
• Payments by invoice must be received and confirmed by Search Africon Organizers to guarantee a place in the event.

Changes to the Event and Cancellations

• We may vary the speakers, trainers, or agenda without prior notice.
• If we reschedule the event, your ticket will be transferred to the new date. You may also transfer your ticket to another attendee.
• No refunds will be given for cancellations except as set out below:
  
  • Full refund within seven (7) days of confirmed booking
  • No refund for bookings made in the 14 days immediately prior to the event
  • No refund for cancellations requested more than 7 days after the original booking
  • No refund for attendees who attend the wrong day of the event.

We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred if we cancel or relocate the event due to circumstances beyond our control (including acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, strikes, or pandemics).

Transfer of Tickets

• You may transfer your ticket to a friend or colleague for equal or lesser value than the original purchase.
• Adequate notice (minimum of 2 weeks) must be provided to us with registration details of the new attendee.

Representations

• We make no representations or guarantees other than those expressed in this document.
• We specifically disclaim any other representations or warranties related to the Conference, including anything asserted or claimed by any speaker or exhibitor.

Code of Conduct and Data Privacy Policy

• By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct and our Privacy Policy.

Delivery Terms

• You will receive a confirmation email with your badge number once you have purchased a ticket.
• If you do not receive your badge, you can print it at the event or confirm your name and badge number.
• We are not responsible for badges not delivered before the event or any disruptions caused by delays in badge collection.

Marketing, Privacy and Publicity

• By registering for an event, you permit us to use your name in customer lists and other publicity related to the event.
• By registering for an event, you agree to be contacted by the organizers and sponsors of the event by email, post, text message, and phone.
• You agree to a profile being created in your name in the event app.
• You waive any rights of privacy and publicity in connection with any Search Africon photographs, films, and video tapes taken of you or in which you may be included with others during the event.

Oversubscribed Session

• Sessions at Search Africon are first come, first served.
• Priority seating only provides access to reserved seating, it does not guarantee access to sessions.

Photography and Videoing

• Photographs and video footage will be taken throughout the Event. Materials commissioned by Search Africon will be used for marketing and publicity.
• If you don’t wish your image to be used, please inform us and we’ll do our best not to use any material in which you appear.

Badge Scanning and Data

• By allowing your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor or sponsor at the Event, you understand that you will be providing them with your personal data.
• This gives your consent to this personal data being used to contact you.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Changes to This Terms & Conditions

We may update this  Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Policy on our websites.
